I was at may parents house and found this button. Does anybody know how old it is? My parents house was built in the 1880's and is in their towns historical society. It was down about 7 or 8 inches by a big maple tree in the back yard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured it was a British or Spanish button. My parents lived there for 9 years, and the previous owner claimed to live there for 50 years. She was never married and had no kids. So I think it is older than 60 years because it was in the backyard and so deep in the ground. The back of the button is gone, totally rotted away.

One person said that it was a British Queen Victoria Button.

Any help with my find would be appreciated. 2475422508_4e82a3670c
